Commonwealth Proper Opens October 1st
The Philadelphia-based men’s clothing brand, founded in 2008 by former professional soccer player and attorney Craig Arthur von Schroeder, launches its fifth custom clothing showroom on October 1st in Suburban Square (40 Coulter Avenue, Suite 134) – delivering on the special product and unique experience that makes modern retail work.
Commonwealth Proper pairs peerless quality with updated styling and fit. They aren’t your dad’s tailors. The products are lighter and more versatile, incorporating advanced fabrics and functional details that address the needs of the modern man. And they are all proudly made in the USA. As the self-proclaimed “New School Tailors,” von Schroeder notes: “While we’ve always had a focus on traditional tailored clothing like blazers, shirts, pants and suits, over the years we’ve evolved with our clients and have applied our knowledge and experience to create a curated line of ready-to-wear products like overcoats, joggers, hoodies and accessories. So, from formal to casual, we have men covered.”
