Check off Your 2021 Goals at Suburban Square

Monday, January 25, 2021

By Guest Writer Paint The Town Chic

Can you believe we’re already a month into 2021? For many of us, that means our New Year’s resolutions are fully underway. As I thought about sharing my 2021 goals, I realized I can accomplish all of them right at Suburban Square! Here’s how you can join me.

Get More Exercise

Let’s start off with a goal that is probably on most resolution lists: exercise more! With limited resources, I’ve turned to safe outdoor activities to add to my weekly cardio. Long walks are a great way to enjoy the sunshine while getting in some extra steps. Suburban Square is the perfect spot to stroll — and you can even get in some shopping at the same time!

If you want to dedicate yourself to a gym or a class, Lifetime and SoulCycle are great options that are also located in the Square.

Eat Healthier

Eating healthier is another goal of mine. Whether you’re into salads and juice, or you prefer to cook on your own, there are a quite a few spots at Suburban Square that can help you out! I highly recommend the Lentil Avocado Bowl from CAVA, or a meal from HipCityVeg (be sure to add in the sweet potato fries).

Shop Local

I’ve definitely been more conscious of where I’m shopping these days, and I always try to purchase from local vendors. There have been some really fun pop-ups appearing at Suburban Square as well as some delicious eateries that I’ve enjoyed visiting. I’m looking forward to even more in 2021!

Treat Yourself

If quarantine has taught me anything, it’s to enjoy the little things. That means enjoying a treat every now and then, like the chocolates from Kilwin’s or a refreshing face mask from Sephora!

Try Something New

Quarantine has inspired me to try new things, or do things that I haven’t done in a long time. An important goal of mine is to keep up with this all year long — whether it’s eating somewhere new or trying a new hobby like photography! I have been eating my way through Suburban Square but still have quite a few places to check off my list.

Whether you’re looking to do a little shopping, enjoy a dining experience, or just want to soak up some sunshine — make sure you stop by the Square! I’m sure you’ll end up checking off some of your own New Year’s goals as well.
